Dear Hickory Grove Baptist Church folks, we will not be having Sunday Evening Service on December 10th. Instead, we will be attending Tilly Swamp Baptist Church @ 6:00 p.m. to hear preacher Rafael Cruz speak. Rafael Cruz is the father of Senator Ted Cruz. I have personally met Rafael Cruz and have heard him speak. You do not want to miss this. Once our own HGBC Choir Practice, which begins at 3:30 p.m., is concluded, we will be loading up the bus at 5:30 p.m. and heading over to Tilly Swamp for this event. If putting on the church's Christmas play isn't hectic enough under normal circumstances, Randy Rogers has the added problem of whether to use two new members, Fred and Royce Fink are ready to act, but they are so comical and bumbling, the other church members don't want them anywhere around, much less with major roles! Even Randy starts to doubt his decision. But when the Royce brothers accept Christ, they step into their greatest roles and show God's love and forgiveness is for all who ask. ... See more
